About Naggar Valley

Naggar Valley was created by David and Alex Langston aka Team Lanx in 2015 during an extensive travel adventure which involved a six month stay in India. Greatly inspired by the rich culture and incredible diversity that we encountered as we moved from state to state our creative senses were sent into overdrive. Continually surrounded by extraordinary art and crafts it wasn’t long before our rucksacks became heavily laden with gifts and treasures and although our travels were slowly winding to an end the Naggar Valley journey had just begun.

Presenting these artworks thousands of miles away from their spiritual home has given us an opportunity to share them with a completely new audience. We have been delighted by the response and it is clear that the fantastic energy these paintings exude transfers effortlessly into western homes and hearts.

We offer a bespoke framing service to ensure your chosen artwork receives the presentation it deserves.

There is an ongoing exhibition of our Tibetan Thangka paintings at the Ancient Mariner pub in Poets Corner, Hove. We are currently working on a Madhubani exhibition which will be in Somerset, venue to be confirmed soon.

As well as beautiful artworks we also sell wall hangings made from vintage saris in Rajasthan and a selection of high quality pure wool scarves and shawls from Kashmir and the Kullu Valley. You will love our ultra warm hand-knitted fleece lined slippers, elegant cotton blouses and super funky Indian trousers for children and adults. Eventually all stock will be added to the site but in the meantime we are happy to offer private viewings in the Somerset area. Give us a call or drop us an email to view our full new range with absolutely no pressure to buy.

Naggar Valley buys all stock directly from the artists and makers as well as fair trade co-operatives. We believe in paying a fair price to the artists thus supporting local communities and their culture. 10% of profits generated from Thangka painting sales are donated to Lha Charitable Trust which supports Tibetan refugees living in exile in North India.
