This painting depicts a rural scene, a common theme in Madhubani art. The revered cow is shown wandering through an orchard with the peacock following behind. The trees are a giver of shelter and food, the peacock a symbol of love. The bold colourful boarder is typical of the style as is the charming naive rendering of this piece.

A wonderful and meaningful original painting.
