A depiction of Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity (both material and spiritual), as well as the embodiment of beauty. She is the wife and active energy of Vishnu. Her four hands represent the four goals of human life considered important to the Hindu way of life – dharma, kama, artha and moksha.

This striking piece of art is typical of the Madhubani style with its geometric patterns and bordered design. A wonderful, spiritual original painting.
